Concerning the "tiny bit too blue (in cast)" thing, I don't know.... I scan my films on my son's computer, then basically edit the files on my laptop to (try to) make them look like as on the contact sheet. None of our displays are calibrated and the images already look a bit different on each of them... thus you're maybe right for the blueish cast.
